Postboxes Series
Royal red for the traditional UK postboxes, Green for Irish Independence - after Irish independence An Post painted the postboxes green. Blue for Airmail - in 1930 "airmail" was introduced to send letters abroad, however it was quickly decided that the upkeep of separate postboxes was too expensive and they decided to use the red ones for everything. One airmail postbox remains in Windsor as a tourist attraction.
